RESIDENCE
Around five minutes from Sabadell Airport, in the Bellaterra residencial area, is the Hotel Campus. This is a four star hotel and TOPFLY’s international students reside here. These are well-communicated by a motorway and a train line.
SURROUNDINGS
Its proximity to Barcelona http://www.barcelonaturisme.com/ and its setting in the capital of industrial Vallés district give TOPFLY an enviable position.
Here it’s easy to combine aeronautical training with knowledge, all within easy reach of the old manufacturing district, which was one of the industrial engines of Catalonia in the first half of the 20th century, the amazing Guadí architecture, or the cosmopolitan city of Barcelona, which, with around 2 million inhabitants, is one of the great Mediterranean captials.
SETTING
Sabadell Airport has a runway of 900 x 30 mts. With a displaced threshold of 180 mts. A PAPI approach system, VOR navigation system and ample parking aprons.
Its closeness to Barcelona’s Internacional El Prat Airport (around 15 nautical miles), allows the opportunity to fly in an area of high general and comercial traffic density. Its strategic position- practically equidistant from the Pyrenees and the south of France, the Balearic Islands and the Levante region- permits flight training in a wide range of situations and settings. It also allows us to operate with some of the busiest eastern Mediterranean airports.
