AIR CHINA WILL TRAIN ITS CREWS AT TOPFLY

As from October the first contingent; made up of 40 university students from the People’s Republic of China ; will begin their Airline Transport Pilot training at Top Fly’s base at Sabadell Airport . This first group of student pilots come under Air China ’s training programme. They form part of an agreement recently ratified between the airline and Top Fly FTO.

Air China is one of the main airline companies in China . It was founded in 1988 and its main hub of activity is the Beijing International Airport . Its routes cover 183 destinations worldwide, both domestic, international and transoceanic. Its present fleet includes more than 160 aircraft and they plan to add another 70 between now and 2010. Among these new aircraft they plan to include 15 of the brand new B787 Dreamliner.
