CHINA EASTERN VISIT TOP FLY

A delegation from China Eastern; Mr. Wang Ta - Deputy Director of Flight Technical Management Division, and Mr. Li Zhan Senior Representative of the Flight Training Department ; visited Top Fly’s training facilities at Sabadell Airport on Thursday the 19th of October. The aim of the visit was to finalise an agreement that would make it possible to train pilots destined for this airline at our facilities. Once the terms have been agreed, pilots from China Eastern could begin their training at Top Fly in the first three months of 2007.

Based in Shanghai , China Eastern is the second biggest operator in that country at the moment. Its fleet is made up of Airbus family and Boeing 737. It operates 2,000 flights a week in domestic flights alone.

The visit by China Eastern comes only one and a half months after an agreement was reached between Top Fly and Air China to train Air China crews. Top Fly is the only European aeronautical training school that has been given the OK by the CAAC to train crew members destined to work in the People’s Republic of China .
