China Eastern, the second largest operator in the country, will train its students in Top Fly. Next March forty university students selected by the company will begin the Airline Transport Pilot Licence training programme in Top Fly. This training course follows the JAR regulations, as well as the Chinese regulations. During their year here the students will undertake a very complete training programme, which includes High Performance Aircraft and MCC in an Airbus A320 flight training device. China Eastern, set up in 1988, has almost 400 routes at the moment and serves more than one hundred airports. The majority of the company is owned by the Chinese government and employs more than 16 thousand people. The company operates almost two hundred planes, which are on average only 6 years old.
