These students come from groups who have recently finished their studies. The prerequisites include having obtained a Standard Plus mark in the MCC phase of training. Top Fly uses a FNPT II Airbus 320 simulator for this part of the course.
Our student, Manuel Reina, has started this phase as a pilot aboard an A320 with Vueling. In the photo taken on the of June; the day of his first flight; we can see Manuel in the cockpit accompanied by flight captain Jordi Martín and second in command Isabel Peña.
Another new flight student will begin soon, Josep Salinas, and then gradually more and more until the first nine selected are incorporated.
The grants are open to any student who has completed the JAR-FCL Integrated Airline Transport Pilot Course with Top Fly. They have to have got a Standard Plus in their MCC Course and have a minimum of ICAO level 4 in English.
.
The flight student figure was common in commercial aeroplane cockpits until recently. It is an excellent opportunity for novice pilots to gain knowledge in a working environment which they can develop in the future.
