The new Cessna 172R GA Skyhawk aircraft have been registered as EC-KHK and EC-KHL These new Cessna have been equipped with the latest GARMIN G1000 "glass cockpit", which substitute the traditional analogical systems. The flight indicators appear on two 14.1” LCD panels; these show all the aircraft indications and parameters, as well as the usual navigation systems through GPS.

Top Fly now operates four of these aircraft, three of which can operate under IFR conditions. They form part of the ambitious process which began last year of increasing the fleet and renewing it technologically.

Top Fly was the first Spanish FTO to incorporate the modern “glass cockpit” system into its training programme. This brought about an important step forward in quality and has greatly increased student training into new technologies that are being applied more and more in Commercial Aviation.
