NEW FIRST OFFICER FOR TOP FLY’S ATR FLEET

Eduard Miralles, ex-student from the 7^th class, has been the new commander in Top Fly’s ATR fleet since November 14^th .

This young, 25-year old pilot was born in Esplugues de Llobregat and now lives in Barcelona. He began his ATPL training at Top Fly when he was 18, obtained his pilot’s licence in 2002 and the Fairchild Metro Sa 226/227TC type-rating in 2003.

The quality of his work did not go unnoticed by Top Fly and he was soon incorporated into their commercial fleet in the Canary Islands. Here he spent a few years flying Top Fly’s commercial routes which link Gran Canaria with El Aaiun, Agadir, Dakhla, Marrakech (Morocco) and Nouadhibou (Mauritania).

What the new commander, Eduard Miralles, likes most about the ATR is the comfort provided to both passengers and pilots. He says it’s easy to fly and has the advantage of having EFIS screens in the cockpit.

One of Eduard’s dreams is to fly the A380 or any of the latest generation big planes. Let’s hope his desires are fulfilled one day. Until then, congratulations Commander!
