The pilot school, TOP FLY, has been invited; along with 6 of the other main Spanish companies who have a commercial relationship with China; to Moncloa Palace to a meeting on Friday, January 30th between the Spanish President, José Luís Rodríguez Zapatero and the Chinese Prime Minister, Wen Jiabao.
The meeting is part of Wen Jiabao’s European tour, during which he will visit Switzerland, Germany, Brussels, Spain and Great Britain. While he his here, the Chinese leader will be received by His Majesty, King Juan Carlos and the President, José Luís Rodríguez Zapatero.
During the meeting with the Spanish President, TOPFLY will sign pilot training contracts with China Eastern and Shenzhen Airlines, which will be represented by their respective presidents. CEO Jorge García Veguín will represent TOPFLY, and will attend with is representative in Asia, Mr. José Narciso Vilaclara, president of “Asia Gestión”.
Various other contracts will be signed between companies of both countries.
Later, President Zapatero will hold a dinner for the Chinese Prime Minister’s delegation, this will be attended by directors of companies such as BBVA, Telefónica, ALSA, Indra, Técnicas Reunidas, TOPFLY, as well as representatives of the business organisation CEOE.
