THE TOP FLY BASKETBALL TEAM COULDN’T BEAT GAYUP

Last Saturday, May 16^th, in the Pedro J. Rubio pavilion in Huesca a special game was played as a climax to the municipal ADOB league. This season’s winning team, Grupo Gayup, played a friendly against a team made up from Top Fly students from China.

The players were from various groups of student pilots from Air China, China Eastern, Shenzhen Airlines and Hainan Airways who are presently studying at Top Fly’s base at Huesca Airport. The students took their responsibilities ion the court seriously and played a visually good, quality game; however, they were off target with their throws at the basket.

The final score was 86-44 in favour of Grupo Gaypu and demonstrated that none of our students is Yao Ming although some of them tried to be. One thing the meeting did show, despite the result, was the excellent relationship between Top Fly, Huesca and their oriental neighbours.
