CASTOR FANTOBA GETS THE BRONZE IN CHINA

The Spanish acrobatic pilot has won two bronze medals in the China Aerobatic Challenge which was held in the city of Laiwu last week. It was the first time that a competition for this sport has been held in China and it looks like it could become the biggest in Asia and one of the most important in the world. Fantoba, champion of Spain and 4th in the 2007 World Championship, managed third place in the freestyle as well as getting third place in the combined freestyle and classic combination.

Although China does not have its own competition pilots, they plan to hold another three annual tournaments- in 2010- and Fantoba has been invited. The Navarra pilot hopes to repeat his Asian success next year.
