Fleet

Topfly has a modern fleet at its disposal for its pilot training courses. TOPFLY’s fleet presently comprises of 45 aircraft and 8 flight simulators. The average age of the aircraft is 5.7 years, which makes TOPFLY’s fleet one of the most modern in Europe.

Included among the new additions over the last few years are the two models of the Italian TECNAM- the P2002 and the P2006. TOPFLY has 4 of the P2006 which were made in 2009 and it is the first FTO to use this model, which was certified by EASA in June of 2009.

Another point of interest is the incorporation of both single and multi-engine aircraft fitted with GARMIN 1000. This allows the cadets to familiarise themselves with the new Technologies being installed in aircraft today.

As for helicopters, the initial phases are conducted in Robinson 22 helicopters, while the advanced phases and the IFR are done in a twin-turbine AS355 Ecurieuil.

The helicopter and aeroplane flight simulators are certified under the JAR-STD FNPT I and II MCC regulations.
