Eighteen young men who were pre-selected by Tianjin Airlines have made the journey from China to Top Fly’s installations at Huesca-Pyrenees Airport. This is the second group from this airline to receive their ATPL training at the Huesca base.
They will receive both theory and practical training for the commercial pilot licence over the next few months; this training includes the type-ratings for instrument flight and twin-engine aeroplanes as well as the multi-crew coordination course (MCC).
It so happens that the arrival of these cadets coincides with the graduation ceremony of the first group of cadets selected by the same company; this ceremony will take place during the first fortnight in July. In Autumn this first group, who are now pilots, will be incorporated into the various bases that Tianjin Airlines operates from in China.
