OFFICIAL OPENING OF HUESCA-PYRENEES AIRPORT.

The Secretary of State for Infrastructures and Planning at the Ministry of Public Works, Víctor Morlán, visited the Huesca –Pyrenees Airport today and has officially opened the new installations. AENA, on behalf of the Ministry of Public Works, has spent 45.8 million euros on remodelling the airport. The State Secretary was accompanied by the delegate for the Government of Aragon, Javier Fernández, as well as local mayors.

Top Fly’s training fleet in Huesca

On his tour, the State Secretary was taken aside by the Director of Top Fly, Francesc Miralpeix, and showed particular interest in an exhibition of the school and airline’s plans for the future. These plans include the arrival in Huesca of a further 120 new Chinese students who, once trained, will go to work in various Chinese airline companies.

In a talk following the visit the State Secretary praised the role Top Fly’s presence has played in making the installations dynamic. Since May 2007 Top Fly has been teaching 40 students from the Chinese airline China Eastern at the Huesca base.
