TOP FLY SUPPORTS THE PRESERVATION OF THE ENVIRONMENT.

 
Under the title of “The Sky and Earth”, from 28 February the pilot school and airline seminar room ´Magna¨ will display 60 photographic works and host a series of conferences.

From the work of Jordi Martín; Airline transport pilot with thousands of hours and photographs – whose responsibility is the part dedicated to the “Sky”; and the photographs of live elements (in many cases of very small size) from the nature photographer Albert Buendía - who is responsible for the part of the “Earth”; have started this initiative for a larger awareness and respect for the environment.

Included in the excellent quality material shown by Jordi Martín, is an unusual view of the Sky from the privileged balcony of a working pilot. The curious place where the most sophisticated technology coexists with the vision of captivating and awesome landscapes.

With respect to the Earth, Albert Buendía invites us to take delight in the beauty of the minute and

apparently everyday things. The delicate beauty of a Mediterranean orchid although not large, can equally compete with its tropical relations. The crystals of frost on a palm leaf remind us that our planet is the only one in the solar system where it is possible that water is present in its three states: Solid, liquid and gas.

Conferences.

Parallel to the exhibition and under the general title of “Nature, essential in times of change”, will be conference discussions:

- Thurdsay; 28 the Doctor in Biology Xavier Mayor is specialist in the academic field of Applied Ecology and planning strategies for the environment.

- Friday 29; the meteorologist Francesc Mauri will talk about climate and meteorology.
