TOP FLY COLLABORATES IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF ANTI-NOISE SYSTEMS

 
The implementation of this system will considerably improve passenger comfort aboard aircraft.

The prestigious Munich Aerospace fair was the scene of the presentation of work carried out by engineers from the Applus aeronautical division over the last few months. They have been working in collaboration with IDIADA (Instituto De Investigación Aplicada Del Automóvil- Institute for Automotive Applied Investigation) on systems to actively control aircraft in-cabin noise.

Tests using sensors placed aboard Top Fly ATRs has allowed a map to be drawn of the acoustic environment passengers experience during different phases of flight.

This pioneering experience will permit new, more effective soundproofing equipment to be developed that will help create silent areas around the passengers.
